Lineups Close to Playoffs?
How do teams play lineups near the end of the season? Do teams that clinch divisions basically bench most of their starters until post season? How about teams without a chance, are they still playing most of their starters or bench players?
I bet on the Twins yesterday and also the Phillies, but I was told that the Twins are still trying for the best AL record for home field advantage, so I would think they would still be playing to win.
How about pitchers near playoff times, are they still throwing like they normally would?
