Because they are the Twins and they are playing the Royals. Baker is on the mound. I just think at even money it's a good bet.
I know they don't have anything to play for but no team going to the playoffs wants to get themselves into a rut by losing a bunch of games at the end of the season. Conventional wisdom is they don't care at this point, but when it comes to losing streaks they do care. The Twins want to keep the mojo going. They'll want this game tomorrow. The Twins got embarrassed today and they've lost 5 in a row. I think they are going to really want to get shit right going forward and it's going to begin with a beatdown of the Royals. I might even spinkle a little bit on the RL.Comment -
Baker is awful on the road... and not very good in general... and Hochevar at home is definitely capable of shutting down the Twins.. ESPECIALLY when Twins aren't playing for anything and have been losing.. I will watch this line myself too. I do really like the OVERComment -

it appears that line will continue to climb in favor of the royals. the last 5 games for the twins (all losses) have seen the lines go in favor of their opponent. now the twins were the road team in all 5 games but they are again tomorrow. still they have something to play for and have been hitting the skids pretty hard. with mauer out and morneau's continued absence (that appears permanent now), their offense has been awful. but the biggest surprise is that their starting pitching has been atrocious. i would say of all the potential playoff teams they have the worst starting pitching at this point and thus have the smallest chance of winning the world series or even advancing one round. it is too bad because they are a well run franchise, but i think they will need to go out and get some better starters for next season if they want to ever win the world series.Comment -
