Classic Vegas scheme tonight with Phillies
Phillies clinched the AL East with a pounding as they beat the Nats 8-0.

Today they are ONLY -125 favorites with ROY OSWALT vs. MARQUIS? Marquis doesn't need any further introductions (2-9 record, 7.18 ERA)

How about Marquis last game against the Phillies on September 17th? Here are his stats:

    0.1 IP, 6 runs, 6 hits

    Not tonight Vegas.

I am saying the Nationals have a good shot at winning, much more than the Phillies.

If someone insists on pounding the Phillies, do so at your own peril.

People always say stuff like this.

The players have nothing left to play for? How about....

MONEY? the reason they all play baseball in the first place?

I would rather fade a team like the Cardinals or White Sox now, they were running on full speed until recently

Marquis isn't looking good. He won't make it past the 5th inning.

Yet he miraculously escaped a bases loaded jam.

Guy makes it past the 5th and then gets a hit off Oswalt.

Looks like the Phillies just handed it back. Only 66 pitches thrown, and Oswalt's out.
