Dempster v Latos total 6.5.... WTF?!
Is this a joke? I haven't placed a wager on this because more times than not when I see a line so out of whack with reality it ends up biting me in the ass, but this has to be commented on. Does anyone remember Dempster's last game? He gave up 9 ER in less than 2 IP. Latos is 0-3 with an ERA over just under 14 (14!) his last 3 games. The kid's done. He's out of gas.

I just don't get this. I know, ballpark and all. But after a 1-0 game tonight, I expect these two teams to put up a few runs tomorrow. I can't believe that they are assigning a Halladay v Wainwright total to these two right now.

Alright, I just had to play it along with SEA -113, NYY (-1.5) -125, and TAM (-1.5) -110. Nothing big, all 2.5 unit (%) bets. The CHC/SDG over is placed on principle alone. Those two pitchers do not deserve that kind of respect at this point in the year. They just don't. I can't let it go without taking a shot there.

I'm going Under guys. This is Petco Park, where balls don't fly out like the Giants were doing at Wrigley. Plus, the Padres offense has not had a Offense explosion in a while and no, they are not due for one too.

          Cubs/Padres Under 6.5 for me

I'm going to stay away for now, but if it goes to 7 I might give it a second look

Got the over. Had to sweat it though.

                      4-0 night. Is that good??
