    End of Season Thoughts
    Hey guys,

Trying to get some discussion going here: What have you guys learned this season? What new strategies will you pursue next season?

I for one will be going back and doing some serious post season work seeing this season and past seasons to come up with the best strategy i can. From the jump without even running any numbers or digging through my play history i noticed the following:

Big dogs are MONEY - Im thinking of coming up with a chasing system for big dogs RRL. I was looking at WSH, for example, and since august they are like 3-6 as a +180 or worse DOG. that means the RRL must be upwards of +250 or better. With a chase system this would be great, but ofcourse i gotta look back several seasons...im not so stupid as to judge just on 2 months of bases.

Ive also noticed that even pickin one game a day i feel like the absolute BEST i could do is pick ONE DOG a day and ride...no need to pay juice when SO MANY DOGS win SO OFTEN...

    ANY THOUGHTS GUYS?

Thing I have seen through my first year in baseball doing this.. is to pick games where you see strong stats for and then watch the line to see if the book agrees with you.. not saying the book or trends always win. we all know they obviously don't.. but to bet big on a game.. I feel it's important that the trends/stats and line movement agree with your play.. you still may win the bet on "I think" or soley based on line movement or trends.. but to me. if your betting big.. that's not worth the risk.. other just have a gift for hand picking winners. but most people can't be successful doing that.

looking at the opening line is important.. and just because a bet wins.. for me.. i've learned its not always the "right play"... because you can win that bet that you shouldn't of made and then you will continue to bet that way.. and perhaps get into bad habits... just from what I have learned and I still have much to learn..

for example.. you see twins at -105.. when they should be -130... they may win that bet at -105... but more times than not, i have seen that's a clue to stay away. just my opinion..

                  - Late August and September are months from hell.
                  - Stay away from large MLs. If you have an edge on those you are God.
                  - Underdogs are usually pretty good stuff.
                  - Sawyer knows the deal.
