5 inning play (phillies at nats)
    phillies -1/2 -140

-phillies lost yesterday 7-3 to the mets. Phillies have their ace, halladay, pitching and he is 7-1, 2.2 era. Lannan is pitching for nats. In his last against the phillies, Lannan pitched 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Score was tied at 2 after 5 innings. Chase Utley was hurt and on IR and did not play. Utley is 11/23, 2 hr, 6 rbi, 3 walks against Lannan. Nats won yesterday against the braves 4-2. Led after 5 innings by a 2-1 score. Once phillies give Halladay an early lead, he does not give it up.

    Werth 6/20, 3 hr, 3 rbi, 4 walks
