The Cubs probly wont win a game because Miguel Tejada wants the playoffs really bad. However, our starting pitching is terrible.

I'll say the Padres sweep on points if I get a +450 line on it

If the Giants make the playoffs I would hope they win the divison so they can face the Reds and not the Phillies in the NLDS.. assuming the Padres get the wild card

Would love to see Giants and Padres in NLCS.. great storylines there and two teams that are almost identical

I have a whole row in SF for next weekend, bought em in June, $19 a seat. Theres probly gonna be 40% Padre fans there; playoffs begin early.

Never seen 40% Padres fan in the park and I've been going to games since they opened the gates in 2000

Dodgers and A's fans I've seen 40%, but based on the implications of this series I wouldn't put it past me that there will be alot of Padres fans there

Like I said.. if MLB wants a great fukkin NLCS.. Giants vs. Padres would be incredible

It seemed like more than half the crowd was rooting for the Cubs. Of course, it was on WGN, so what they showed was probably skewed. But if even 40% of the people in the stadium (which was 60% empty to begin with) were rooting for the Cubs, San Diego should be even more embarrassed than Tampa Bay, where no one shows up but at least the ones who do root for the Rays. Or Washington, where at least 95% of the few fans that were in the stands last night were rooting for the Phillies. The Cubs suck and the Padres are fighting for a playoff spot for goodness sake. These three teams and the As, who have had a good year but still draw 10K a game, should just give it up and either disband or move. And the Braves, Pirates, Orioles and Marlins aren't much better. I used to live in Atlanta, and the flagship Braves station there would preempt the games in the middle of a pennant race to broadcast Georgia football.
