    The Doc.
"In 14 starts against divisional foes, Halladay is 13-1 with a 1.74 ERA. He's only defeat came in 2-0 loss to Josh Johnson and the Marlins on June 10. In addition to having a perfect game on his resume, Halladay leads the National League in wins (20), strikeouts (213), complete games (eight), shutouts (four), innings (241 2/3) and ranks third in ERA (2.53)."

        haha. nice. a june game.
the dirty, north Jersey side of my yanks/Phils split family had only one smug thing to say after the loss in the 09 series. "You can't win a World Series with just one Pitcher."
We're bringing three to the party this year.
13-0 for our trio (not counting Blanton who hasnt lost since mid-July) in September. Phils own CC in the playoffs. As always, Im not concerned about the Phils. Especially not in the MEDIOCRE NL. I'm not sure the Yanks and their shit pitching are gonna hold up their end of the rematch bargain. Especially if they lose home field to the Twinkies.
lotta depth in those AL playoffs. Best of luck to yours, tho.
Side note: You like the Yanks, and the Lakers? how about in football? The Cowboys? Or just whoever is the best?

If the NL is mediocre I guess you can't bring the pitcher 13-0 streak argument on a WORLD SERIES against a team from the real big league.

Playoffs are a whole different game and we know who's the biggest winner in this sport.
