Aww thanks man. Watching his last at bat last night, with the ball goin inches from the foul pole, I KNEW i would miss it today cuz i'm at work. I just hung my head cuz I knew it. Thanks for the condolences though lol.

I actually know him. My buddy played with him at Chipola and when he used to come into town to play the Braves he would always hook my friend up with 4 tickets to the game....this is back when he was on the Pirates. Then we would all go party in Buckhead every night he was there. They put him up at the Ritz Carlton and I would have thought they would have some sort of curfew or something but he would come out with us every night and party like a rock star. He was real chill and laid back and always picked up the tab. I thought that was nice of him because he didn't know me at all until I met him for that series.

My buddy has been keeping in touch with him (the one who played with him at Chipola) and he said the reason he is doing so well is because his hitting coach has his timing down better than it has ever been in his career.

You are right about hitting coach. I have seen serious differences between last year and this.

Yeah, I expected him to be cocky as hell (mainly because most baseball players are cocky as hell, even my buddy that played ball with him) but for a professional athlete, he was extremely cool and laid back. Of course this was also a couple of years ago before he was one of the most popular baseball players in the league. He might be a dick now but I doubt it.

I don't think so, he's always great around the ballpark with fans. He isn't doing like gillette commercials in toronto now or anything lol. He's just a regular dude it seems like. Kudos on your 50th Bautista.

No, we didn't take any pictures but I really have no reason to lie about this. My buddy that played ball with him is David Wolensky. David went on to pitch for the Angels minor league system. Had to have Tommy John surgery twice in a 2 year span and got cut. He made it all the way to Rancho Cuchomonga in the system which I believe is the Angels High A team. I have plenty of pictures of me and David together but that is just because we are best friends and went to high school together and have known each other since we were 16.
