I would normally never advocate a bet on the Cubs, but there's a ton of value here. Zambrano's been outstanding recently, and the Cubs -- now that they have nothing to play for -- look terrific (of course). The Cards, meanwhile, are in a daze and look like they just want the season to be over.

I know Carp is pitching, but Zambrano beat him a few weeks ago at Busch, where he's been lights out for nearly his entire career. Why not again?

I also think the Astros sweep. Happ is 3-0 with a 1.48 ERA at home. He's been rock-solid for Houston across the board.

Take a look at the Jays, too. Drabek making his MLB debut. Bergesen's been bombed against TOR this year. That line is small for a reason.

Took Zambrano at +180 last night. Being fading the Cards for awhile now (including Weinright last night) with success. I said this before but the "must win situation" is not really much of a motivation for them when they lose repeatedly to the likes of the Pirates, Nationals, Brewers, and Astros with their duel Aces on the hill. Cubs has played a lot better since they forced Pinnela to resign. Zambrano is pitching like his career is on the line (it probably is).
