Astros' magic number

I can't believe this team could end up .500

I've got Houston 'under' 74½ wins on the season, and the Astros are at 68 now with 19 to go. That puts the magic number at 7. I'm very tempted to just throw $25 on them each game the rest of the way until they win their seventh or run out of games to get seven wins. Thoughts?

Eh, win or lose, I still enjoy playing baseball and college hoops futures. Life's too short to stop doing something you enjoy simply because you suck at it.

Wasn't a bad bet....just more bad teams than good.

Luckily, a significant portion of those games are against Cinn....how do you think those series will pan out?

Just looking at the schedule...I would place wagers on them when playing Cubs, Washington, Pitt...of coarse you're sharp when it comes to betting MLB so I wouldn't do it blindly.

Went ahead and took Myers tonight. My gut says Brewers take two of three in this series, so maybe this is the one Houston wins.

Also went in on Luebke and Pads tonight. Likely another loser of mine, so everyone else go big on the Rocks

Like I said...you know these teams and you know baseball so you can kind of do a pseudo-hedge intelligently here. All depends on how important making money is to you and how strong you feel situationally.

I'm just going to put a few points on the 'under.' After the past two nights with Houston wins, I'm hesitant to push my luck on a side today.

Figured it out: If I can pick three more Astros wins to play with $25 plays on -140 or lower lines, I can at least push my futures bet from the spring.
