listen guys, think of the entire season as a compilation of streaks. the longest winning streak in the majors this year was 10. The probability of the winning streak extending further past 10 games is not greater than the probability that it will not. Anybody can beat anyone on a given night. Over a given season, there are streaks that are more common than others, anything north of 7 and south of 5 should be considered unusual. thus, it only makes sense to bet in the opposite direction of the streak until the sreak is over..anybody feel me?

I think you're kookoo for Coco Puffs. They'll easily be (at least) a couple games better than .500 the rest of the season, which makes your chase a loser. Best September team in baseball. Won 20 of 22 just two seasons ago to end the season. Good luck with that, though. You'd be better off fading the Padres or Reds. Most overrated clubs in the NL. Those two teams are gonna get bounced out of the post season so fast they won't know what hit them.
