    Trend/System Plays
The Seattle Mariners had a rare offensive outburst last night, scoring seven runs in their win over Oakland. One game does not a season make and M’s are still pathetic offensively, batting .236 as a team and scoring 3.2 runs per game. They will see the pitches of left-hander Gio Gonzalez (13-8, 3.12 ERA), who is 4-1 with a 1.15 ERA over his last six starts and Seattle is 12-29 vs. lefties this season.

The Mariners will start Luke French, who’s only allowed four home runs among his eight starts this year.

Play Against road underdogs with a money line of +150 or more batting .260 or less as a team, against AL starting pitcher with ERA of 4.20 or less, with their own starting pitcher permitting a home run or less every two starts on average. The underdog in this spot is 25-101 the past 13 years.

(Baseball Trend ) Zack Greinke and the Royals are 5-26 as a road underdog of +125 to +175.
