    Milwaukee "O" 4 1/2
Cardinal starter Lohse is a wreck.
Had unorthodox forearm surgery in May; no one had had ever done the forearm surgery for a pitcher before; they were not even sure WTF was the problem.
Lohse's back, so far three starts, 15 1/3 innings, 17 earned runs.
Milwaukee has Fielder, Hart, Braun, Weeks, McGehee = 5 legit power hitters.

Looks good. However I think/hope Lohse bounces back tonight and gets the win. That said over 4.5 is still very likely. GL

        Bounce back?
        He is a train wreck.
        Should not be starting.
Good teams, good players, play bad, can bounce back.
But pitchers with significant injury issues do not.
It is mental, too, last yr he got a few boo-boos and fell apart.
Now he has a mind numbing forearm injury that the best orthopaedic MD's could not figure out.
Management gave him 4 yr $ 40M+ deal, have to stick with him one more time.
I am reaching out, this is a once a yr opportunity, they will bench him after this one.
        Do not pass it up!
        Bounce back?
Brewers will score 5 before Lohse pulled in the 4th or so.

                  Haunted.
Brewers score 2 in the first, were hitting 3 irons into the gaps.
2nd inning, first and third, nobody out.
Lohse is visibly folding like a cheap lawn chair. Knows this might be his last start of the yr.
Hitter drives a screamer to second. Double play.
                  Run scores.
2nd base ump says Brewer runner ran out of baseline to take out Cardinal shortstop.
HE GODDAM TAKES THE RUN OFF THE BOARD, runner goes back to third! Next guy pops out.
                  Lohse settles.
He allows 2 more runs in 5th, leaves after 5 innings = 4 runs. Shoulda been 5.
Cardinal relief pitchers shut out three innings.
                  Under 4 1/2.
Dont see that too often... take back run even though both guys were out in double play.
