    Lets talk about the Braves/Pirates
Atl (30-40 away) is laying -200 versus Pitts (32-38 at home)

No matter what is gonna happen you take Pittsburgh every time in this spot. Remember its about value not who you think is gonna win or should win. When they met May 21 hudson was only -148 in pittsburgh and now he is -200. The braves have not improved at all on the road while the pirates have remained decent at home in comparison to there overall record. Now with that being said the Braves probably blow out the pirates tonight but the total is only 7.5. Im sure the stats all favor Hudson and he owns the pirates etc but the phils are closing in and the grip is getting loose in Atl. The players are feeling the pressure. Sep is the month where we find out who is for real and who isnt.

    Pittsburgh +1.5 +105

While I agree that the Braves are losing hold on the division and should eventually give it away.....today will not be the day. Hudson is too good and has pitched very well against the pirates in his career and should keep the Braves holding on to the NL East lead for at least one more day.

Tomorrow's pitching match up seems more likely for the Braves to lose.

Line is dropping in that some syndicate sees a value in the home dog. However Hudson price is about right now -205 imho.

"Arizona's Barry Enright has been on an incredible run these last three starts (1.31 ERA), beating Ubaldo Jiminez, Matt Latos and the man he will face again tonight Tim Lincecum. If you're keeping score at home, that's the staff ace of three main division rivals! However, the price is too tempting to pass on Lincecum here, especially with the revenge angle in play and considering the Giants have won 11 of 12 down the stretch away from home against teams with a losing record."

How can the Braves be trusted? Yesterday was perfect example as to why this team is suspect. No way they hold off the Phillies the next couple of weeks.

in this pressure game I will take the braves. their offense is not reliable and anything can happen but if they can plate 3 or 4 runs they have a chance. they can do that at least can't they ? i mean come on losing 2 in a row to the friggin pirates !?!? they better damn win cuz i got them in a couple of parlays and all the other selections have won.

No matter what happens the rest of this game my point has been proven. You take the team with the better record at home over the bad road team.

Thanks LB! When I watched this thread i decide not to put my money on Braves! At the beggining I was thinking Braves RL, Yankees RL and Twinkies RL. And wanted to make a 3 teamer ml. Then i decide no to do that. Instead i Took Twinkies RL and Toronto RL.
