Hope that hits for you Mike and that the Braves sweep the Bucs. The Pirates need the number one pick to trade away in five years for prospects! GL

This is a tough one to call. The season will come down to the last 6 games they have to play each other. The season finale in Atlanta will be huge...

What book was offering 2-1 on the Braves? This shouldn't be more than -120/+120 either way.

aint happening. the phillies are playing amazing ball and the braves are gonna crumble. its only a one game lead and with atlanta playing 16 of the next 28 or so on the road and the phillies playing at home, phils will take the division

Sick odds you got there, should definitely come down to the last three games, but we haven't been playing too good ball lately. We really need a sweep this series, and to be honest if we dont take at least two out of three, then we're effed IMO. The one thing that could come in to play though, is us being 7-5 against them this year so if we split our six remaining games and are tied, we'll win the tiebreaker. Should be an interesting race...

i got them fukkers to win Over 92 wins, placed at Break.
only 10 wins for the push
get it
3 games vs the Pirates
by the by, stop talking shit on the Pirates. if you don't think their top 5 batters next year will stack up to just about any top 5 in MLB you are smokin crizzzack.
who leads off? i don't know, but next year expect this:
of course if they get zero starting pitching again it will not matter. but that top 5, write this down, will do some fukkin damage next year.

Stat, I am a long-time Pirate fan, since mid-seventies. In response to my disrespect directed at the organization I think I am entitled, as their disrespect to the franchise and fans has not seemed to bother them much. As a NY`er you have to give me credit for not being a YankMee fan. Fukk the Yanks and fukk the Bucs. At least until they break 500.
Oh, and Crayzee, thank you for the points Brother.

Braves have a pathetic showing today in Pittsburgh...Losing this game and the series to Fl is not the sign of a contending team.

I like this play. They are more consistent than the Phils. They should get it done. Remember the last series of the season is Phils at Braves. Luckily for you the Braves are lights out at home.

Sorry guy, it's highly doubtful that 5 guys on the fvcking Pittsburgh Pirates can produce 500 runs in a season, especially 3 over 100 RBIs... are you on crack?

unfortunately, i still vividly remember bream scoring and not being thrown out by barry bonds, one of the best players of all-time. shame he had to take PEDs, the prick.
anyway, no, not on crack.
being a Pirates fan is a long, painful and lonely existence. so i can easily admit where they went wrong and when they went right. painful as hell watching this guys on a daily basis, but at least the nuttings are making $$$$.
Wrong:
Doumit sucks. one good year and they think the guy is going to be an everyday catcher hitting for avg and power. if he isn't the worst defensive catcher in the majors, I feel sorry for the guy that is.
Walker. they were right on this guy, but took way to long to get him in the line-up. see Doumit above. wrong part 2.
Tabata looks like the real fukkin deal and I can't believe the Yankees parted with him.
Alvarez is going to be a stud, just a matter of time. he make little ball fly far. once he gets to start seeing pitchers for a second, third, fourth time, look the fukk out. huge leap from AAA to major league pitching with a steep learning curve.
Jones will get 25-30 jacks next year, the only difference is he will actually have runners in front of him.
McCutchen is good when he accepts the role of lead off guy. being 28th in the league in OBP is not good enough. he still swings for the fences too much for my liking. 26th in BBs is not good enough either. the guy can wreak havoc on the base paths when he is gets on.
weak as shit and very streaky on hitters 6-8, but i am telling you, keep your eye on those 5 next season. Pirates might even win 70 games next.

Phillies only a half a game back now. Should be a great fight til the end of the season!
Six upcoming sold out games:
September 20, 21, and 22nd in Philly and
October 1,2 and 3rd in Atlanta!
Great baseball!

None of the major books have the Braves anywhere near 2-1.
Perhaps Milwaukee Mike was talking about 2-1 in European odds format which equals even money.
In any event, I went in the opposite direction and took the Phillies at -115 @ Greek for the max.

The way the Phillies rotation is setup in both 3 game series with Atlanta they will have Halladay, Hamels, Oswalt will be tough to beat. Either way both teams make the playoffs and could easily meet in the NL Championship series. No book has 2 -1 though.

The Phillies will be too much for the Braves to hold off down the stretch. Again, this late in the yr losing games like yesterday to the Pirates is just unacceptable.

first off you did not get 2 to 1 on your money on that wager if made yesterday like you said and second of all the phillies have come back from being behind7.5 games and they were injured and are now just getting there starting line up to play together and the braves will choke just like they always did in the past.plus they are only a half game out now from 7.5
