Jonathan Broxton is the greatest pitcher in MLB history
Here's a recap of the events.... I bet alot of money today, more than I should and lose a ton....

I say to myself, "ok I gotta get this back" .. I bet even more money for the day , on the Giants ML

... It's your typical California night game, no offense until dodgers put a 4 spot in 4th inning... I keep watching on MLBtv till the 5th when it's still 4-0 and say fuk this shit... I turn it off and need to relax so I play madden 11 on xbox for 2 or 3 hours!!!! I come back on my laptop and expect to see Dodgers have won....... BUT NO

Many of you know what happened... Dodgers bullpen completely implodes for the 900th time this season!!!

I should send a handwritten thank you letter to me hero of September, Jonathan Broxton

I turned that game off when Cain gave up the 3-run bomb. Having just seen the boxscore, i'm not sure what shocked me more: that the Giants actually came back to win; that they scored in three consecutive innings; or that those three consecutive innings were the seventh, eight, and ninth.

Empire the setup guys let up 2 in the 8th as well

and when you only score runs in 1 inning for the entire game and take your foot off the gas pedal as the dodgers did today they were bound to come back

He gave up a 2 run homerun big deal it was not a shock

i love turning a game off thinking i have lost and put it into my notes as a loss and then come back later to check the final score to find out that i've won. that is probably one of the best feelings of betting sports.

side note: i think broxton is done...i mean, i think he has lost the edge to be a closer ever since he blew a few at the start of the year.

I was actually going to bet on the Giants mL, but I made plenty of plays for the day.
Plus, Lilly gives up a lot of Home Runs.

So, I just get out of work and driving home and look for the dodgers radio. Posey was up and hits a HR off of Lilly in the 7th.
8th inning, Renteria hits a HR in the 8th off of Lilly.
                                      Pitching change in the 8th>
Dotel comes in and Pat Burrell pinch-hits and hits a HR in the 8th.
End of 8th after Kuo closes the door, 3-4 dodgers.
                                      9th, Broxton for the close>
                                      runner gets on base.
Juan Uribe hits a 2-run HR to go ahead 5-4 Giants.
dodger fans go home angry and half bald after pulling some hair out.
                                      End of story.

Torre should of kept Kuo as the closer. It was said and he probably thought Broxton was ready again. LOL. I love this game!

I thought Torre made up his mind that he would put Kuo as the closer for now on? Kuo has a very, very, very low ERA.

The Dodgers are a disater. Anytime their bullpen gets involved the game becomes a fiasco.
