Yankees have been SOLID without A-Rod, and I DO NOT see them losing this game to the Blue Jays. This pitching matchup is a mismatch.
Next, we have the Boston Red Sox.
Buchholz is 5-0 with a 1.07 ERA in his last seven starts. Does anybody have his day record? I heard it was ridiculously great.
Now, Buchholz has an astoundingly huge ERA vs. the White Sox, but this is a Cy Young candidate who is looking strong.
Danks has a 1-4 record and 5.08 ERA versus Boston. I see Red Sox coming out strong and holding the lead the whole game.
This play is a night play. We have Pauley vs. Talbot.
Talbot is one of the worst pitchers this year. He has a quite impressive streak going! 0-5 with a 6.23 ERA in his last nine starts.
Last time Talbot faced Mariners not too long ago. Seattle got six runs in just four-plus innings in beating Talbot 9-3 on Aug. 14.
Pauley has not been that impressive the last couple outings, but he is back at home and Mariners will give him run support.
