Pujols has been a joke as of late, and has had chances to score runs each at bat today, and hasn't even come close to making good contact. Let's get it to 8 tonight RedLegs.

Took the Stros just because Suppan sucks coupled with just getting off the DL so he should extra suck.

Coming in with ZERO momentum, getting a big bomb from Holliday......squandering LOTS of scoring chances, then giving up a 3 run bomb to Pence has to be demoralizing.

The meat of the order goes down without any effort whatsoever in the bottom of the 7th. I don't remember seeing a team struggle the way the Cards are right now. They have no clutch timely hitting.....one of the biggest flops I remember in recent memory.

For sure. Do they really suck that much, or are they making money by fixing games - I really don't know. But to say "they are just in a big slump" seems way too easy to me.

they are in a slump, not sure why it is hard to believe. the phillies just lost 4 straight at home to the ass shmoes and got decent pitching as well. now they go out west and win 5 of 6 against two of the best home teams in the national league. we are dealing with humans beings not roulette wheels from what i have been told so there will be times of struggle no matter what team albert is on. this is not and new scenario, it happens every year and will continue to happen every year until robots play the game.
