Sorry I was unable to log onto this website the last three days and share my sports bets recommendations and write-ups. I was able to go 8-4 in that span.
However I am back today and ready to share my 5 plays for September 1st, 2010. Remember...no fluff....just results...
1) Red Sox @ Baltimore - John Lester is taking the hill for Boston and is already 2-0 in 3 starts against Baltimore this year with a 0.47 ERA. Coming off a hard loss to the Orioles last night expect a big win for Boston. Pick: Red Sox (-1.5)
2) Pirates @ Cubs - Cubs send Gorzelanny to the mound looking to atone for that embarrassing loss last night at the hands of Pittsburgh. Gorzelanny pitches effectively in day games this year and the Cubs should bounce back and take this one. Pick: Small bet on Cubs (-1.5)
3) Nationals at Marlins - Chris Volstad is on the hill for Miami and he is already 3-0 with a 3.00 ERA against the Nationals this year. Expect Florida ride yesterday's 1-0 bottom of the ninth win high and win again today against Washington. Pick: Marlins (-1.5)
4) Padres at D-Backs - Matt Latos will look to snap a season high 6 game losing streak for the Padres. He pitched a shut out agains tthem this year already in his only start and has had 13 straight quality starts for the Padres. The losing streak shouold end today for San Diego. Pick: Padres Moneyline
5) Texas @ Royals - Tommy Hunter and Rangers win this. Pick: Rangers (-1.5)
