the home team only needs to win by one run, the game ends in the 9th. road team can score 100 runs, game continues. make sure know about run lines and how the work. this is part of the reason.

Also, many times RL's can be correlated to totals.

+1.5 is worth more on a total that is 7.5, than a 10.

maybe Rockies > Mariners
meaning it will be harder for SF to get the RL thats why they have better odds

the way baseball games are played technically this is correct. the giants will win their game by 1 run (exactly 1 run) more than the angels will based purely on the rules and how the game is played. that is the main factor. these two teams may have stats that also contribute but the main fact is that the giants are at home and the total is where it is set.

I don't really pay much attention to RL's because I rarely play them.
