I don't bet baseball very much...but I'm thinking, the total for today's Phillies game, for instance, is 6.5. So obviously a game can't end at 3-3, so a 7th run is required.
How key are even and odd numbers in baseball totals? How often will this game end 6-0, 5-1, or 4-2 to hit exactly 6? If 3-3 is much more likely than 5-1 or 4-2, then isn't getting over 6.5 essentially like getting over 5.5 with a caveat (that if it's exactly 6-0, 5-1, or 4-2, you lose.)?
Just curious about even and odd number totals.
