its always a decent bet to fade the angels these days. theyre playing with absolutely no heart. there was a point in the season where weaver would step up and pitch lights out to avoid an embarrassing home sweep but his last 2 starts have been pretty bad. plus the angels generate no runs. the RRL looks like a decent shot, but b-roberts and adam jones may still be sitting. GL

You would think that there is no way the Angels get swept at home by the Orioles, but then again the Orioles swept the Rangers at home a few weeks ago. Ever since Buck has taken over this team, they have found some life.

Why is LA giving that much chalk (-200) to ANYONE at this point (OK maybe if it was the Pirates; but even that is too much). Weaver is good (but cold), but Gutherie and all of Buck's starters have improved drastically. Gutherie's weakness is giving up the long bomb but LA's 9/14 in AL in homers and their bats have been on vacation (scoring more than 3 runs only 5 out of the last 16 games).
