    Early games - 2 picks
They don't get swept. They've never been swept by them. They have to win at least one. Those thinking that that way and backing the "no-sweep" theory with their monies have actually given excellent value to the Tigers' and Rays' lines. Let's make some money early in the day:

Tigers -1.5 (+115): The Royals haven't been swept in Detroit since 2002. So what? The Royals have nothing left in them. They're just waiting to return home. This may look like a square play but the Royals are a square team and it's easy for squares to make money fading square teams.

Rays +100: The Rays have never swept a series in LA. So what? The Angels aren't playing for anything and Haren hasn't proved anything yet. The team that wants it more, gets it! True.

Like the Tigers pick still debating on rays/angels usually dont like backing a guy off the DL and like backing home teams to avoid sweep. Plus this line seems off should be a pick em line. Anyways GL

Those have already been applied to the line. An examination of the line indicates the Rays are the true favorites.

best of luck, if youre looking to parlay throw in the phils.

theyre also being looked at being swept at home by the astros.

          dispicable.

Rays should be favored. Haren has been a mess all year.

I like the Tigers RL here, but I'm skeptical on TB. I don't like the line in that one. With Niemann on the mound, one would think the Rays would be favorites. Even if they are on the road. I'm staying away from that one all together. BOL

I think the line has been adjusted to Niemann's first start back from the DL.

It's a 4 game series J-Ro.. They aren't trying to avoid the sweep at this point they are trying to avoid losing the series

I like the TIGs here...I hated the price but honestly, They are on fire and i like where they are at...plus I know Miggy personally...I love backing them but hate when they just flop over and lose (duh!)...

BOL...ill probably look at the tigers game first...then TB later...TB seems tricky but they have been fun to tail lately...on an incredible run stll getting these odds!!! come on guys, gotta love the Rays...

a funny thing you mention the no swept theory...i think ppl ignore these teams on incredible runs like TB because of other theories such as that one, or the DUE FOR A LOSS theory...THEY HAVE WON 8 of LAST 10, and the two loses were on the road by 1 run!!!

                              I like TB here...BOL bud!

There are no guarantees in this business but I like Tigers -1.5 (+110) more given:

                                    1) Galarraga's 1.97 ERA against the Royals
                                    2) Sullivan's 6.57 ERA
                                    3) Tigers' hot bats
                                    4) Royals' cold bats

                                      I like both plays:
Royals have not recovered since getting their bullpen overworked last series against the white sox (including the 2 extra inning late night doubleheader). They're terrible on the road all season; as opposted to Tigers who is one of the best home team in the majors. Plus Tigers are on one of their patented home hot streaks while the royals seem to spent all their energy in the tightly contested home series against the playoff desperate white sox. Only concern is that Galarraga is feast or famine (a no no when playing chalky favorites) but O'sulliven gets hit hard more often than not so RL is preferable over ML. Go with the better current form.
Anaheim seem to mail in their season already. They're way out of contention and played lifeless ball of late. They sucked it up in front of national tv last sunday and lost 2 straight to the rays at home; even last night when they have the pitching advantage in Santana. Haren's had a sub-par season with the Diaomondbacks and it only got worseafter getting introduced to the AL. Injury concerns limits the chalk in TB's line but TB definately have over a 50 percent chance of winning this game. Line has steamed however (got it for +110 last night) draining some of it's value.

the phils have a 4 game set, no?
Wilforth, I like your style. My two picks for the day are Tigers and Rays... I was debating Tigers -1.5. You sold me.
Im in and I won't even parlay them considering the + money.
I am, however, taking my winnings from the day games (which I expect) and placing them on the Doc. He is unbeatable, and the ice bats are of no relevance. CG SO tonight. no doubt.
