They don't get swept. They've never been swept by them. They have to win at least one. Those thinking that that way and backing the "no-sweep" theory with their monies have actually given excellent value to the Tigers' and Rays' lines. Let's make some money early in the day:
Tigers -1.5 (+115): The Royals haven't been swept in Detroit since 2002. So what? The Royals have nothing left in them. They're just waiting to return home. This may look like a square play but the Royals are a square team and it's easy for squares to make money fading square teams.
Rays +100: The Rays have never swept a series in LA. So what? The Angels aren't playing for anything and Haren hasn't proved anything yet. The team that wants it more, gets it! True.
