Nick Swisher traded to White Sox
He batted .262 with 22 homers and 78 RBIs in 150 games in 2007, his third full big league season. He also drew 100 walks, ranking him sixth in the AL, for a career-best .381 OBP....

I think its a pretty good move by the White Sox

Gio Gonzalez, Fautino De Los Santos, and Ryan Sweeney....

If Mr. Beane is involved in a trade, that normally means he got the best of the deal.

Even though on the surface it looks like the [iSBRFORUM]White Sox[/iSBRFORUM] got better end of the deal. I feel the [iSBRFORUM]A's[/iSBRFORUM] will end up the winners after its all said and done. I mean Gonzalez might only be at the double A level and all, but he did lead the league with 185 strikeouts.

This has been the A's trademark since Billy Beane has been there. I have to say that he is the best when it comes to trading high price talent for top prospects.

Swish could have an immediate impact in the WSOX lineup, depends from whos perspective you view the trade.

Swish can easily be a 40 HR a year guy

I like the trade for the Sox, they had to do something to keep up with the Tigers

pitching, would have helped them better keep up with the tigers. if the tigers cant hit ya, they cant beat ya. swisher is fine, but hes not a a star. i wouldnt be overly excited if i was a sox fan. besides, where is he gonna play, center?

With this trade, the White Sox supplanted my Pirates as having the worst minor league system in baseball.
