Manny won't make a difference. He sucks. Lilly shut the Brewers out earlier this season. His last game was a shutout as well. I put my money on Lilly.

It is not his physical cibtributions that help that line up, it is his mental contributions. Case in point the dodgers last two games. Manny is in the line up and they tie the season high in home runs, manny is out the next day and they score 2 runs.

This rule applies for the rest of the season. If he is in the line up they will win more than they lose. If not do NOT bet on the dodgers.

Dodgers are now 3-0 since manny has been back. He did not start on Sunday and they lost. I have a feeling since it's a day game tomorrow he will get the day off. In that case take the under. The dodgers have a great shot still at winning the wild card with manny in the line up, I can't believe they are just going to let him go.

Uh, the Dodgers have a "great" chance at winning the WC? They're 5.5 games out with four teams ahead of them. Baseball Prospectus lists the Dodgers current odds of winning the WC at 1%.

I say great because in a way they control their destiny. They play the rockies, giants, and Phills all in the next week plus
