Maybe it is better to pick your spots and play against that ace.

Every situation is different, but on a general note:

            1) Ace vs. ace: go Over
            2) Ace on the road vs. a team with a home-win rate of over 50%, take the home dog.
            3) Ace at home as a favorite of -200 to -350 against a team with a road-win rate of over 30%, take the RL of the road dog at plus-value. The only notable exception to this is Sabathia. The Yankees keep winning for him at home by multiple runs, no matter the line.

if possible look to get +odds in baseball if you can. i am not sure why people constantly wanna back -200+ favorites when there are other games every single day, ace or no ace. make a list of the games each day and cross out favorites of over -150 (look at the dog side). most games are coin flips in baseball especially with the right matchup even if the line is -180 for example. there are some games where the large favorite is much more likely to win, but if you bet dogs and small favorites you'll last a lot longer and at least have a chance to win. good luck!
