I read somewhere that Kyle Lohse has a 4-0 record with an ERA of 2.14 in six starts against the Pirates...still though...doesn't make me feel any better and can't bring myself to bet on the Pirates. I think I'll put this one in the pass column.

cardinals are maybe the most over-rated team. if carpenter or wainwright arent pitching, anyone can beat em any day

Notes:
1) The Cardinals offense isn't any better than the Pirate's.
2) The honorable Lohse is way past his prime.

As much as I hate putting my money on the Pirates, I think they'll take this one.

I'd love to take Pittsburgh, but I see that the Pirates are 16-41 against teams with a winning record. I'm going to need better than +115 or +120 to back a team that probably won't reach 60 wins.

I was thinking the same thing dolphan34. Probably going to be taking them as well, but small. Always the chance that the Cards look down, and realize that they do indeed have a set of nuts and win. Good luck!
