#1 Yanks are definitely looking at the Tampa score (Loss), so this makes this a game that much more important to them. Everyone is already calling Tampa the Winner of the East, but the Yanks will have a say in that. Also, I think the whole incident in the first game, which they could have easily won, has gotten the Yanks more fired up than the Jays.Originally posted by ttm

I guess my feeling was wrong. A lot of late money came in on the Jays, which almost made me buy it back but that's not my style. Goin roll one up and chill. Time to put a bad day behind me...no biggie though still up over 12.33x in 7 days. Sorry to those that tailed, congrats to those that faded. Record is updated with Yanks loss.

I said it before the Texas/Minny series, Texas is going to be a steal due to their shitty road performance. I just didn't believe they would still be at these prices. Remember when you couldn't touch them for anything less than -200? Well right now I believe you have a hot team, the team we saw before the break, that's going to make their run. They just took three out of four from the Twins, who have been the hottest team in baseball, and almost swept them (just short of the comeback today) to boot. I predicted they would sweep the Twins, and well...three out of four ain't bad.
Tomorrow, the Rangers go against a team in the Athletics that have caught fire of late themselves. However, the A's success depends on small ball, i.e., good pitching/defense that stifles opposing team's run production. The problem is the A's won't be able to stifle a Texas offense that is surging right now. On top of that, the A's WILL NOT score enough runs to keep up with Texas even if Anderson pitches a gem. Trust me, the Rangers are fully aware of a division rival coming to town trying to play spoiler, but it isn't going to happen. Texas wins this game going away.Comment -

In one day's worth of solid capped plays, we've almost made up for the big bet (12x) Yanks loss on 8/25. You see people this is what you do; You have a bad day, as we did on 8/25 by going for the proverbial knockout punch with a 12x play on the Yanks, and you take a little break and regroup (took 8/26 off to relax and reevaluate the Yanks play). You then come back in the right mindset and handicap a great card! You DON'T CHASE the next day by putting some ridiculous amount (at times fictitious by the looks of some posters on here) on a single play, or multiple plays for that matter, to try and win it all back. Not one of our plays went above 5x today. We just picked a good card, capped the shit, and went 6-3-1 (once again staying about 60%) for +7.20x profit. We made more than half of our 12x Yanks loss back in a day.
