Why are the Indians such heavy underdogs to the Tigers of all teams? Why should the Tigers (who opened at -190 and falling fast) be favored that heavily over anyone? Sure their starter Max Scherzer has been pitching well as of late but he's got an 0-2 record with an ERA over 8 and a WHIP over 2 against the Indians.
Besides, Cleveland has a decent pitcher of their own in Josh Tomlin with an ERA almost a full point lower than Detroit's own Scherzer. Do I love a play on the Indians? If they win my answer is, of course I do! However, let's face it, the Indians are a sub 500 team and that's never comfortable but they're facing a sub 500 team in the Tigers. It's a value play but one that could very well give you a healthy return. I've got 2 more on my free site but this is the biggest value pup I see today.
