Atlanta Braves will sweep the Cubs. It's part of the trade for Lee since the Braves agreed to pay his inflated salary.

I have been fading them for awhile now...it's pretty easy money
But...Dempster at Wrigley has historically been good
Taking the Braves anyway -131 right now
Line will probably skyrocket so get it now if you're gonna play it

Fading the Cubs on a Friday afternoon is an art. Pretty profitable.

Fading the public on an isolated afternoon game is better.

I write this down in every thread with the Cubs:
Betting against the Cubs is always a good bet.

Sorry, but I'll have to take Dempster at home as a +130 dog. He can pitch lights out quite often and possibly make this one a crapshoot.

Since April 25th of 2008 (Dempster's break out year and the year he moved from relief to starter for Cubs), Dempster and the Cubs are 1-7 on Fridays (Fridays are typically a significant stat day). While Dempster has pitched fairly well in these contests, the Cubs still manage to lose the game. To Dempster's credit, out of those 7 losses, 4 have been NDs.
Also, the Cubs at home are 38-61 since '04 when they lost the last time they faced the starting pitcher. NP playing against the Cubs in this spot +4315
