Braves/Nats UNDER 8.5

Not sure why this line isn't at 9 or 9.5 with these two scrub pitchers going. Line has moved in favor of the under with 51% on the over. The line looked fishy to me once i saw it. I am taking the under here. Thoughts?

Lannan has allowed 2 earned in three straight. 6 earned in 18 ip.
Lowe has allowed 4 earned in his last 17.1 ip (and ATL is 1-2 in those 3, bc they dont score for him).
Hinske starts at first for the Braves.
And no Adam Dunn for the Nats.
Not saying youre wrong, though. just splainin' why.

Thanks. Took a look at some numbers but still think these two suck and the line should of been 9 - 9.5

I agree with this assessment. I am on the under 4.5 first 5 for this matchup. Don't want bullpens to be a factor.Lannan has not had good numbers as a day game starter this year, but his recent performance trumped the day time stat for me.

I like this play. The Nats are not exactly lighting up the score board lately & Atl has been struggling against lefties recently. I can see this being another 3-2 ball game today. With ya on this one. GL.
