Ah, the Mariners are most likely going down. I suspected that I should not pick an underdog twice in a row on the road against a team such as the Yankees. I thought it was bad yesterday when the speculative pick came up with the Orioles a second straight game right after they just beat the Rangers as an underdog the night before.

Today, I initially had the Reds also but changed it because their pitcher is coming off of a break and the Dodgers pitcher has been doing quite well as late. I wanted to pick the Blue Jays, but the Red Sox are so unpredictable on any given night, so I backed away. The Astros pick even scares me. We'll see if I should have stuck with the Reds and Blue Jays and dropped the Mariners and Astros. Oh well, you can't win them all.

Yeah, the experimental system has been getting old with the Mariners, Orioles and Nationals coming up like every day, so the Pirates pick is interesting just for being something new.

Is it possible to pick one play/day? or one pick at once. This way, you can use Labouchere system which will work great for underdogs. Even with %34, you can make nice money and your bank can stand even after 0-9. I see you got a much better winning percentage so labouchere (also known as cancellation system) can work even better.

Angels lookin' good btw! I'm surprised to see they're +107 dog. (I was expecting -110 or -108)

Just from these few days it's looking like an underdog that won the night before should not be bet on the next day and maybe not for the rest of the series although that could be team specific. Following this advice with the speculative system would have resulted in + 152.

I think I'm going to abandon this thread. I'm in a downswing and am not feeling up to it. I had no actual underdogs yesterday but did have the Nationals (+168) as a speculative pick. That system is on fire right now. 8-9: + 631. Today my underdog pick would be the Mariners (+112). The speculative system has the Nationals again. I can't trust my own picks right now.

Mariners offense is so bad. They can't even score 2 runs against a pitcher with a billion ERA. I am disappointed that the Red Sox ended up losing tonight. At least I had a tiny positive day for the first time in 6 days.
