No matter what happens, the fact is the lay price was way too high here.
On July 1, Wolf pitched into the 7th against the Cards and beat them 4-1.
No question Wainwright is one of the best in the business, but he should not have been priced at -2.51 over Wolf here - esp backed by a Cards' lineup that could only muster 2 runs all day yesterday vs Dave Bush (who was 5-10 going in).
