    Who they went 14-4 against.

Not one of those teams in above .500 and combined they are almost 100 games below .500 and have a win pct of .432 which is equal to less then a 70 win team.

You take that 14-4 record out and Texas is 53-47 and losing today.

they have had a ton of injuries and added some good players recently, the team they put out on the field over the course fo the year has not been that good, but if everyone if available they are elite

somewhat interesting but don't really care. they would still be winning the division even if they were 7-7 in interleague

I think the point is be careful when they face the better teams. Missed out this time around with them against the rays, could have made some money fading them it looks like.

yes but look at all the guys out, cruz, kinsler, molina, guzman, and andrus, as well as a pitcher who is probably not in the playoff rotation

I don't like or dislike anyone. I like value and I am saying the value on them is to fade. I also have a decent size play on them to win the WS from earlier this year so I would love nothing more then to see that. Anything can happen in the playoffs and there is no doubt they are going to the playoffs, esp value when you have the games best pitcher in Lee.

Listening to people say how good they are isn't true in my opinion. They are a notch below 4 other teams in the AL is the way i feel but when you talk to most people they put them right up there with the top teams. I am stating my case to try and help others that only look at the records.

It was more of a thread warning others don't fall for the hype, IMO. Sorry I upset you posting something bad about the Rangers. Doesn't mean I don't think they aren't good, I am saying just above average and about the level of the White Sox.
