Why is SD only -111 on Tuesday?

Garland's not great on the road, but Wells has been stinking up the joint lately. The Pads are obviously the superior team with the superior pen.

Something's fishy here. A lot of early line movement, too.

don't worry about it nocoin thats just the books playing tricks on ya. Cubs have been getting too much respect from the linesmakers and the pads not enough this whole season, why stop now.

well, LEE is out. Wells is solid, IMO. Wells isnt the problem. The CUBS are the problem. Any win they get is a gift.

cant see any reason to play CHC, here. literally the best team in baseball at these odds? I would probably take it.

however, my moneys on CLEV tomorrow.

          GL.

Wells is not solid. I don't get why people keep saying this. He's 6-10 with a 4.60 ERA, and 0-2 with an 8.44 ERA in his last three starts. 10 walks and 16 ER in his last 4 starts. He's a No. 4 guy at best on a bad team.

I wouldn't put a dime on the Cubs -- just saying it's an odd line.

I agree the Pads should be a bigger favorite, but that just means this is a sketchy line. I get burnt by sketch lines all the time. The public will hammer the Pads tomorrow, so I may have to fade them and roll with the lowly cubbies for a small play.

Agreed it is a strange line NC. I couldn't make sense of it given the numbers so I'm off personally. Don't see how CHIC and Wells do it but home field still counts for a fair factor I suppose. Cheers

Padres will sweep this pathetic team.

well, padres will most likely take at least 3 of 4 here, so it's still value.

and one more thing, if you take padres, you know for sure although they can screw up when there's RISP, they still play with heart, but with cubs, you dont know whether you get the real cubs or just scrubs

what is so strange about the line? this is the most expensive line the padres have been given at chicago in the past three seasons.

Cubs TT under. Reasoning, they put up their total runs for the series in the first game.
