Taking David Price and the Rays at -101 on Monday.
Cliff lee is one of my fave pitchers and i hate to go against him in any spot by i really think he is a false fave here and a minor one at that. The Rays got out of the weekend with 2 wins while they were looking ahead to the Rangers and Lee. Although Price hasnt fared well v the Rangers in the past i think he gets it done on Monday night. The rays are a 60% winner at home and getting money a bit. Lee hasnt pitched very well two of the last 3 starts and has already lost to TB twice this year ( losing with Sea though). Good luck if you tail or fade.

The Under is probly a good play....the difference between Lee and Price is that Price will probly only last 6 innings at the most and Lee could easily pitch a complete game

Meaning the Rays bullpen could easily blow the game and the Rangers bullpen prob wont ever have the opportunity to blow the game

If i recall correctly....Price only lasted 5 inning in his last start vs the Tigers....i bet on him that game and they won the game 6-3 i think covering the runline which i had

thats the only reason why im staying away from this play...just an observation to look over but goodluck

The rays haven't exactly been putting a ton of runs up lately so I think the play is rangers or under. Lee's last start was against the Yanks so you cant really blame him for giving up some runs there. He consistently pitches 8 innings while Price has been lasting about 6 lately whle issuing more than his share of bb. However, Cruz is out so maybe the under is the best bet. I still really like the rangers in this spot.

Don't forget Evan Longoria is 2 for 14 against Lee and has been in a mini slump lately as well. Idk if tonight is the game he'll break out of it. Just something to keep in mind.

Yeah, we thought the same for the Yankees game and look what happened...

Rays look like a good play especially being at home and Texas coming off a series against Boston.

"The pitching matchup is a great one, Cliff Lee versus David Price, but the Rays rate enough edges to earn my backing.

The Rangers lack the urgency the Rays have. Tampa is home and locked in a struggle to make the playoffs being in the tough AL East. The Rangers are coasting, up 8 1/2 games in the laid-back AL West.

The Rangers also are traveling after playing five straight games in Texas heat. The Rays are staying home where they have won 16 of 21 in their domed Tropicana Field. They are 7-2 in their past nine home contests against the Rangers.

Part of the Rangers' problems at Tropicana Field is making the conversion from playing on grass to Fieldturf.

The left-handed Lee is one of the top pitchers in baseball. However, he's given up four earned runs in two of his last three starts. This is the third time the Rays are facing Lee this season. He is 0-2 with a 3.38 ERA against Tampa Bay this year, having pitched against them both times with Seattle.

The Rays are a major-league best 25-13 versus southpaws. They are 13-3 against left-handers the past 16 times they've faced them at home.

Price is just as good as Lee. He's 15-5 with a 2.84 ERA. And Price is even better at Tropicana Field where he's 7-1 with a 2.04 ERA. "

every game is a playoff game for the rays. Rays are a better team at home than the Rangers are on the road. Rays are the play.

it's always a tough decision when LB and Paco are on opposite sides.
