That would have been the standard play up until a month ago. Not sure why Eli has fallen out of favor with Bochy. But getting Ishikawa in the lineup isn't such a bad thing.

PS...Eli doesn't really "own" anyone. He's a terrible hitter. Gets lucky from time to time.
