    Twins vs. White Sox
    Selection: Chicago White Sox

Tonight we go to another match-up with postseason implications between the Twins and White Sox, who enter tied for the divisional lead. Each team has been hot with the Twins winning 13 of 17 while the White Sox are on runs of 41-17, including 21-3 at home. But the pitching log for tonight's starters are quite opposite. For the White Sox, Floyd has a 1.19 ERA his last 12, including 0.86 ERA L6 at home. He has allowed just 3 runs his last 28 IP. For the Twins, Liriano comes off a "bust" in which he allowed 4 runs in 4 2/3 IP vs. Cleveland. He has a 5.82 ERA in 34 IP vs. the White Sox, including 0-3 with an 8.27 ERA at this site.

nice write up, may have to put down a little on the CWS, that 21-3 looks pretty good!

Thanks for the writeup. I went for CHIW earlier based slightly on Floyd and home field-I didn't realize Liriano's troubles went back so far. Cheers

Nice write-ups.. but forget one thing though... Floyd is 4-5 against MIN in 10 starts with an 4.04 ERA, allowing 33 runs in twice as many IP... That aside I like White sox, Floyd is in the zone!

The White Sox definitely need to get out of this slump. I think this is a solid pick. Good luck.

Like the White Sox here. Floyd has been so impressive since his last non quality start june 2 2010 against Texas. Liriano seems to really struggle in this ball park also. Give me the White Sox for a unit.
