Blue Jays/Red Sox Overs

Anybody else liking the over in this game, over 9 seems pretty safe in this one.

Mills got knocked around pretty good in his last start by the Rays and he his ERA is sitting at 4.09. The Red Sox bats have woken up for the playoff push, scoring 10 and 7 runs in their last 2 games against Romero and Marcum, 2 solid pitchers.

Lackey has been pretty bad as well, with a 6.27 ERA in his last 3 starts, he gave up 7 ER in his last start against TOR too.

Anybody else liking this pick?

Ya, I love it. Lackey also has a 6.86 ERA during day games. He has a 10.97 ERA vs. Toronto this year in 2 starts. I got it in at 9 before it jumps, hopefully we hit. I could see either team hitting it on their own. Pretty big play for me though, and my big plays have been fade material recently.

I am not on it yet. I really hate playing totals on the early games. Just seems like early runs are always a struggle. I am also not a believer in Boston. Until the past few games, they really struggled putting up runs even against Cleveland at home. They did get some players back though.

too many factors pointing to the over. It actually looks too easy. This game will be the most heavily bet of the early games due to it's early start time. If you are going to get a head fake, it will be in this game here. Lackey due for a good game. There are rumblings in Boston about this guy being hurt. He will want to quiet those rumors if he is healthy. Wouldn't be surprised to see a game like Clay threw yesterday. Salty likely getting his 1st start today Can the sox carry most of the weight to the over. I think it will need to be 7-3 or 8-2 if it goes over. IMO.

I use to think sometimes the obvious isnt the right bet, but that definitely has not been the case here lately. If you still can't side with the facts that are right there in your face then you probably should just pass on the game. You'll be kicking yourself if it hits.
