Hammel has been struggling of late. But I really like his stuff. I think we will see a nice pitchers duel between him and Johan in this one. I think Johan is getting too much respect here. The value is with the better team, Colorado @ +140 in this one.

There's some RLM in favor of the Rockies. I don't bet on baseball regularly (just gonna throw some SBR points on games for funzies); do line movements factor into bettors' gameplans as heavily in baseball as football/basketball? On top of this, the K-Rod incident and the Mets usual collapse from mid-August thru the rest of the season plus the great value make the Rockies look like a strong pick.
