matt garza threw a no hitter last time he faced the tigers, verlander last time he faced the rays gave up 3ER for a nice performance. however detroits offense is completely shit, shouldnt the rays be favoured in this spot then.

Garza has lost two straight sine his no-no and I believe is 1-4 in his last five against Det. Verlander has had some nice outings against the Rays and is 2-0 at home against them. I'll have a little on Det today as they try to avoid the sweep.Comment -

I'm taking Tampa. Tigs are my heart and soul, but I can't recall the last time I've seen them play this poorly (maybe the '06 WS?). If Tampa doesn't get to Verlander, then surely they will get to the pen once JV racks up 100+ pitches by the 5th inning.
Detroit offense has become a non-factor. 0-6 overall vs Tampa this yr. 2 runs in the last 2 games. Just 4 measley hits last night. What's to suggest a turnaround?
