Dodgers/Phillies
Dodgers at Phillies and essentially a pickem. Padilla has been pitching great. In his last 8 outings, he has given up at most 2 runs! However, he was 4-3 in those games. He pitched a complete game last outing and shut out the padres.
Then you have the Phillies who are at home. Kendrick is a decent pitcher. I heard many of the Dodgers offensive players are out and this makes this line suspect to me. Many people here would pound the Phillies at home with Kendrick on the mound at a pickem. I know Padilla is horrible on the road. I recalled last year in the NL title game, he got lit up and someone mentioned he is 1-8 in his last 9 decisions on the road.
I thought this would be more close to Phillies -125 because of Padillas Bad Road Record but he pitched a full 9 innings last outing so wouldn't that make him a bit tired? This one is too close to call.
Twins/White Sox
How is this game essentially a pickem? Scott Baker is 9-9. Freddy Garcia is 10-4. ERA is around the same for both 4.70 for Baker and 4.54 for Garcia. White Sox are at home and we know they are something like 20-4 or something like that in their last 20 something home games. Is it because they left Baltimore yesterday and are tired and the twins had the day off? This line is the fishiest of the day and i think the Twins win this one in a high scoring affair.
