im a huge cubs fan, and i think colvin is getting way too much hype...hes an exciting young player, but we have seen LOTS of those come and go (and not live up to their potential)...corey patterson, felix pie, jake fox, micah hoffpauir just to name a few...all these guys started hot (like colvin) and then went on to do nothing...i hope colvin is the exception, but i have a "wait and see" mentality w/ him...maybe im just jaded...

on the other hand, LOVE starlin castro...he is going to be a STUD, no doubt in my mind...

Cubs will always be a loser because there is no incentive to win. The higher-ups know they'll fill Wrigley with drunk sunburned yuppies game in and game out whether they're 100-62 or 62-100. By in large the fans don't demand a winner, so this is what they get in return.
