This scumbag burns me last Sunday when he decided to rest A-Rod and other regulars versus the Rays. For no reason. It was the deciding game against the second place team. Nobody would make such a pompous move.
Now to today. Granderson can't hit lefties. He didn't do it last year. He's not doing it this year. It was the biggest spot of the game, 7th inning, bases loaded and no outs. Pinch hitter, right??? Nope, Giradi decides to leave him up and he strikes out on 3 or 4 pitches. My friend said the Yanks needed to show confidence in him and leave Granderson in the game. Wel, how's his confidennce now? I lose bets all the time, but it really pisses me off when I have to watch a pompous Manager lose the game all by himself. And I don't want to hear about the World Series, any Manager would of won with that team last year.
