Why does all West Coast teams in baseball have no offense?
The AL is known for their offense and the NL for their pitching. However, does anyone ever notice its really the west coast teams that have no offenses? All the West Coast teams, Oakland, Seattle and Angels have no offense. Rangers have offense but they are in the mid west so i don't consider them west coast. Then in the NL you have the Dodgers, Giants and Padres who are horrible at hitting. The Rockies are decent but again they are a mid west state and not west coast.

Why is it that all 6 West coast teams in MLB have no offenses? The NL has teams that can hit like the phillies, braves, reds and these teams have more offense than the west coast teams in the AL.

    Can someone explain this?

Weather.. A's and Giants play night games right by the water... Low scoring games at night when the ball does not carry in those stadiums

Seattle plays in a graveyard for a park, plus they are a AAA team.

        Oakland plays in a graveyard

San Fran Plays in a Graveyard

        Padres play in a graveyard

Angels do have offense. They are in the Top 15 in 3 of the major batting stats as a team.

When they go on the road all of these teams score.
