Wood (2-1, 2.42 ERA), the Reds' minor league pitcher of the year in 2009, allowed two runs, two hits and struck out four in a 3-2, 10-inning win over Chicago on July 1.

Wood is 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA in his last two starts. He threw seven innings of two-hit ball and did not allow a runner past second base in Monday's 4-0 win at Pittsburgh.

It will give them a good chance to get some separation in the NLC

The Cubs have quit. Of course. These are the types of games they win. . .when no one thinks they have a chance.

Ive mentioned this in several threads already... No matter the situation, the pitcher, opposing team, the opposing pitcher, no matter what i am fading the cubs and the marlins the rest of the season until the rake in 3 consecutive wins to cut their losing streaks.

                Fade cubs!

Been on the Reds since the end of May and have been killing. They have had a good week and I have as a result. The trend continues on Sunday under will probably be a good bet as well, unless the offense comes out on fire. I'm just taking them maybe Run Line not sure yet. Good Luck to All

Reds dont sweep, and Phillips is OUT.

Trust me I have bet on the Reds three times for the sweep, and they scored a grand total of 1 run in those games.

This is one of those games... where you may overthink it and talk yourself out of an easy win. That being said, I will look into this game more before making my play...

                        "Wood hard... but Diamond harder"

The Cubs cant score any runs so idk how they win.....Phillips being out doesnt bother me...its not like hes their best player....if Votto is out then this game will be a no play but i expect him to be starting
