OK so i got the rays today at +2.5 at five dimes in a parlay.

Anyways big game James didn't have it today. I knew in the first inning when he walked three.

Now through for he has given up 8 on five homers.

Why would Maddon give up on the game add leave Shields out there?

Makes no sense the Rays need every win they can get right now.

I know you don't want to waste your bullpen but that's why you got long relievers.

It makes perfect sense from a baseball standpoint just not from a guy gambling standpoint. There was absolutely no reason to bet Rays +2.5 in this game. If you don't think the Rays are going to win (or cover the -1.5 RL for that matter), then you have picked a bad spot. There were much better plays out there.
