It was close to the Gallaraga call. It was fair by 3 or 4 inches but umpire had Philly ML lol.

Maybe not as big in historical terms but I think this call tonight was the worst call I have ever seen. To have a ball bounce 6 inches fair after it crosses third base and then KICK UP CHALK on it's second bounce before going foul. The cherry on top was the umpire refusing to look at the ball as it passes him. He gave up on it for some unknown reason.

I think this will be a pretty damn big story in the morning. The fact that the Phillies were given a replay in the top of the next inning for a home run dispute makes a huge case for a better replay system. Cmon Selig, quit stalling.

As said, he didn't even watch where the ball landed. How do you miss a call like that when you're standing right on top of the play?
Also, Hanley Ramirez makes throwing error at the WORST times.
