Not a good day for relief pitchers

I have never seen so many poor performances. They come in, walk guys, give up home runs and just dont get outs.

Why do these managers insist on bringing in guys that just can't pitch?

Examples, Minn, CWS and Pitt.

it's tough shoes to fill. you go out there with no one on and nine innings to play theres a lot less pressure.

i'd rather see a walk than a pitch to hit right up the middle... although you are right with the SOX its becoming a problem there was both of those things happeneing today (walks, pitches to hit).

Add Baltimore to that list, what a bunch of losers these guys are. Just throw some strikes.

Im not trying to make excuses but you do have to remember that a lot of these bullpens are overworked. I think because it is getting late in the season and the fact most starters go 6 or less its starting to take its toll.
